The Board of Management of Spa N.S. was delighted to announce the launch of our new “Spa School Lotto” in March 2024.
Our school community wanted to maintain the very best school facilities and provide top quality I.T. supports and curricular resources for our students to use and enjoy in their learning. It was decided to tackle this huge challenge with our new whole school fundraiser lotto, a weekly lotto draw, which would take place all year round.
Since then (and thanks to the wonderful and loyal support we have received from past and present members of our school community), Spa N.S. has been able to
1) Invest €14,000 in curricular resources for students to use in their Maths, P.E., English reading and special education support lessons.
2) Commit €18,000 towards the complete resurfacing of school astro turf pitch.
3) Plan to invest €10,000 in curricular resources in science, technology engineering and mathematics in the coming months.
We would like to say a very genuine thank you to everyone who has supported these efforts over the past two years. Your support has been invaluable and very much appreciated!
All the money raised from this fundraising initiative has been used to directly support your children’s education. Together, we have achieved a huge amount! Ní neart go cur le Chéile!
However, the work goes on, and we genuinely need your continued support in these efforts. By participating you will be helping us to continue to provide the very best opportunities and supports for our students in their education.
It is important to highlight that this lotto fundraiser is the ONLY way Spa N.S. fundraises. This allows all P.A. events to be purely social and for building the school community spirit. The jackpot starts at €500 and increases every week until it is won with the maximum jackpot set at €3,000.
We hope that you can contribute €5 weekly for 3 lines which would be hugely appreciated, and you never know you might just win. (The weekly option of €2.50 for 1 line will allow everybody to contribute.)
Please spread the word by inviting friends and family to take part too, as the more people that take part, the more funding will be available to do great things in our wonderful school.
