Making a Real Difference!
Scoil Mhuire is devoted to providing an all-round education for your children, enabling them to explore and embrace the many talents they possess. The beginning of spring in Clifden is marked by the joyful sound of our school band — playing instruments funded directly through the generous support of this fundraiser.
Many of the extras that make our school such a vibrant and enriching place — including our school band, Accelerated Reader, Izak9, and decodable readers — are not covered by government funding. These vital initiatives are made possible only through the continued support of our school community.
From the lively performances of our pupils during the Clifden Arts Festival to the confident musicianship of our school band, your support helps create memorable, meaningful experiences that nurture creativity, confidence, and community spirit.
Thanks to this fundraiser, we have already built two fantastic playgrounds: one for our infant classes and another specially designed for our special classes. These spaces are now filled with laughter, activity and inclusive play — a direct result of your generosity.
Looking ahead
We hope to use the next phase of funds raised to:
Expand our sensory and wellbeing spaces
Enhance outdoor learning and garden areas
Invest in digital learning tools for all age groups
Upgrade sports equipment and PE facilities
Every contribution helps us create an environment where children thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
