Your contribution makes a big difference! Thank you
Welcome to the Emo National School fundraiser lotto.
Our Commitment to Excellence
We are committed to providing our students with access to high-quality equipment, teaching tools, and learning resources. However, maintaining this high standard comes with costs that exceed the grants provided by the Department of Education. This is a challenge faced by many schools across Ireland, and with your support, we aim to meet it proactively through our fundraiser lotto.
Enhancing Our Autism Classes
The development and furnishing of our new Autism Classes will ensure they meet the highest standards to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for all students. These classes will be equipped with tailored resources, including specialised learning tools, sensory aids, and adaptive technologies, designed to meet the diverse needs of children with autism. By fostering a nurturing and structured environment, it will not only support academic development but also promote social skills and emotional wellbeing. With your help, we aim to create a space where every child feels safe, included, and empowered to thrive.
Sensory Rooms
These specially designed spaces offer a calm, engaging environment where children can explore and regulate their sensory needs. Equipped with items like soothing lights, tactile objects, and calming music, these rooms help children focus, regulate their emotions, and prepare themselves for learning. While particularly beneficial for children with autism and sensory difficulties, other students also benefit from access to this resource, promoting better concentration and emotional wellbeing throughout the school.
School Swimming Programme
Thanks to the support of the Parents' Association, part of the cost of swimming lessons is funded, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn essential water safety skills. This program not only teaches children how to swim but also promotes physical health, builds confidence, and encourages teamwork. By making swimming accessible to all students, we are fostering lifelong skills and healthy habits that will benefit them well beyond their time in school.
Cycling Safety Programme
Developing safe habits on the road is a critical life skill, and our cycling safety instruction provides students with the knowledge they need to stay safe when cycling. Children learn how to navigate roads, understand traffic signals, and practise responsible cycling behaviour. These sessions also promote independence and active lifestyles, helping students grow into safety-conscious cyclists.
Enhance our School Libraries
Updating and purchasing new books to foster a love of reading and ensure a wide range of educational resources are available to all students.
Fund iPads and other learning tools
Maintains our students engagement with modern technology, helping to support both creative learning and critical thinking.
Thank you for your ongoing support!
