Your contribution makes a big difference! Thank you
There are many exciting projects Craughwell National School would like to engage in, but often it is the school budget that decides. The funds raised by the Parents Association go directly to a host of great projects as well as providing extra treats for all the pupils throughout the year.
Based on last year’s excellent fundraising efforts, the Parents Association was able to purchase 30 brand new Chromebooks and a charging trolley for our 6th class pupils. These were presented to the class in December 2023.

It is our hope that, through this fundraising lotto and other planned activities that we would be able to expand the programme by adding additional Chromebooks for our 5th class pupils and so on.
We also organise and fund training and information sessions for parents, including First Aid, Child Mental Health and Wellbeing and Internet Safety. These are offered to parents at no cost.
In addition to the bigger projects, the Parents Association also organise smaller treats for all pupils throughout the year.
These include:
- Halloween Art Competition and prizes
- A visit from Santa with treats on Christmas week
- Special treats for communion, confirmation and graduation
- Ice Cream at the School Sports Day

With the completion of the new school in sight within the next year there may be other great projects which we can provide funding and assistance for that will hopefully enrich all of our children's learning experiences.
We will keep you updated about what the funds raised will be spent on so you can see the positive benefit of your support.
Please invite your family and friends to support our lotto.
