Carrick-on-Shannon Golf Club is over 100 years old and is recognised as a ‘hidden gem’ in Irish golf. It has hosted National Championships and received great accolades. For members and visitors, it is a wonderful facility to have on our doorstep.
The primary aim of our club is to promote the game of golf in the area. We encourage and facilitate people of all ages and backgrounds to play the sport. We partner with other sporting organisations and charitable organisations (e.g. Special Olympics, NCBI, NW Hospice) to raise funds and better our community.
As a committee, we endeavour to present the course in excellent condition. To do this, we need to invest in machinery. All proceeds from our club lottery go towards procuring and maintaining this equipment so we can keep the course at its best.
We will update everyone on how the monies raised makes a difference with pictures of the course and equipment.
